Fifteen years ago, Floriography Flowers began as a tiny plot of blooms tucked between pecan orchards in southern New Mexico. Our Founder Emily, a fourth-generation pecan farmer, wanted to continue her family’s agricultural legacy in her own way — by growing flowers, and designing with heart, intention, and a deep respect for the land.

What started at local farmers’ markets soon blossomed into a thriving floral studio, evolving from retail floristry to large-scale event design and production. Along the way, Emily has become a trusted industry expert, sharing her knowledge on sustainable floristry and design innovation. She has joyfully executed over 1,000 weddings and events across eight states, bringing creativity, expertise, and a spirit of collaboration to every celebration.

Through it all, her approach remains the same: to create beauty with integrity and a strong sense of place, embrace the unexpected, and make the process as fun as the party itself!

Intentional, expressive design is at the heart of what we do. With florals and botanicals that are often as rare as they are beautiful, we create events as one-of-a-kind as our clients. From intimate Southwest weddings to dazzling themed company parties, every moment is designed to be memorable.

Commitment to Sustainability

At Floriography, sustainability is a core philosophy and practice. We’ve been foam-free for over five years, rejecting toxic, non-biodegradable materials in favor of eco-friendly techniques. We compost and recycle as much event waste as possible and prioritize sourcing local farms and American-grown blooms in season. All of our green waste is composted with local partners. We are always working to reduce the environmental impact of our work.

Our designs celebrate the natural world while honoring our responsibility to protect it — creating beauty with care for the planet.

We endeavor to be thoughtful and conscientious in the choices we make and the items we source. Progress, not perfection, is our goal. We, as a business and as individuals, will not be deterred from aiming to do better for our world. Our art cannot exist without nature.
