Emily Calhoun James

Founder / Creative Director

Meet Emily James, the visionary behind Floriography. Her journey began in 2011 on her family's farm, where she combined her love for floristry and regenerative agriculture. Over the years, her small flower farm has expanded into a creative empire, featuring renowned brands like Floriography, Calhoun Flower Farms, and Florecita.
With a background in leading international and outdoor adventure trips, Emily discovered her passion for orchestrating grand events. She excels in large-scale installations with challenging logistics, infusing each project with personality and flair.
Outside of her work, Emily enjoys baking, designing, hosting dinner parties, and crafting bubbly cocktails. She cherishes peaceful moments on the porch with her husband Eli and their dog Huck.
