Our Story
We were born from a love of New Mexico…
and its flowers, a desire to connect people with place, and a drive to build our local flower economy, one bloom at a time.
Launched in 2011, with some canning jars and a tiny piece of dirt in between pecan orchards, our founder Emily, a fourth-generation farmer, decided it was time to continue her family’s legacy in her own way: by growing, selling, and designing flowers with love and conscience. Loyal customers from Emily’s farmer’s market stand started asking her to bring those flowers and designs to their weddings and celebrations. The rest, they say, is herstory.
Floriography, now so much more than a farm, is still committed to sourcing and prioritizing local and seasonal blooms to this day. Emily is still just as passionate about New Mexico and remains a loyal advocate of women in agriculture.
